Living at Home During a Renovation: A Room-by-Room Guide
Most clients don't move out during a renovation. Here's what actually changes day-to-day, room by room.
The question we hear most often at a site visit isn't about cost — it's "can we still live here?" In most cases, yes. What that looks like depends on which room is under construction.
Kitchen
We seal off the work zone with dust barriers and agree a temporary cooking setup before we start — usually a countertop burner and the existing fridge relocated somewhere accessible.
Bathroom
If you only have one bathroom, we stagger the schedule so you're never without a working shower and toilet, even mid-renovation.

This is the one case where staying home gets genuinely harder, and it depends on scale. We'll walk through what's realistic for your specific layout at the site visit — sometimes it's one section at a time, sometimes a short stay elsewhere makes more sense.
